Honkai: Star Rail 3.4 Launches with Fate Crossover
Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.4, titled “For the Sun is Set to Die,” launches on July 2. The update introduces the long-awaited Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works crossover and a new Trailblaze Mission continuing the Amphoreus story. Players will also welcome the debut of Phainon, a 5-Star Physical Destruction character positioned as a premier DPS option.
Banner Schedule and Crossover Details
Phase 1 features Phainon alongside a triple rerun banner with Tribbie, Sunday, and Sparkle, supported by 4-stars Tingyun, March 7th, and Yukong. Phase 2 returns Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade with Hanya, Lynx, and Luka. On July 11, the Fate/Stay Night crossover begins with independent limited banners for Saber (5-Star Wind Destruction) and Archer (5-Star Quantum Hunt). These banners use Special Passes and remain available beyond Version 3.6 with no fixed end date. Players can claim a free Archer by logging in between July 11 and the end of 3.6, and a free Archer signature Light Cone by spending 200 Special Passes on any banner from July 2 to August 13.
New Features and Quality-of-Life Updates
Version 3.4 adds a highly requested skip dialogue option for quests, along with a new long-term co-op mode centered on Origami Birds. A purchasable Firefly skin, “Spring Missive,” gives her a school uniform look. The Fate/Stay Night crossover also introduces a combat mode and a Holy Grail War storyline set in Penacony, featuring Saber, Archer, and Lancer interacting with the Trailblazer, Aventurine, Boothill, and Robin. The crossover event runs through Version 3.6.
