Paradox Drive: Pokémon TCG Pocket’s New Expansion

Pokémon TCG Pocket’s next minor expansion, Paradox Drive (codenamed B3a), will launch on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 6 p.m. PDT. True to its name, the set focuses on Paradox Pokémon—creatures from the past and future—and is headlined by the Ancient and Future Legendary duo, Koraidon EX and Miraidon EX.

Notable Card Reveals

An official trailer unveiled several new cards. Koraidon EX and Miraidon EX lead the charge alongside Farigiraf, Kingambit, Garganacl, and a roster of Paradox Pokémon including Scream Tail, Raging Bolt, Flutter Mane, Iron Boulder, Iron Hands, and Iron Bundle. Notably, Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant were absent from the reveal, suggesting future waves may add more Paradox species.

Trainer Cards Introduce Ancient and Future Mechanics

Paradox Drive introduces two distinct tool and Supporter categories. Ancient Booster Energy Capsule gives Ancient Pokémon +40 HP, while Future Booster Energy Capsule adds +20 damage to attacks from attached Future Pokémon. Professor Sada allows players to attach three different Energy types from the discard pile to an Ancient Pokémon, and Professor Turo shuffles one of their Future Pokémon in play back into the deck.
