Drill Camp Guide: Auto-Level Heroes & Reset EXP

Once your Town Center hits level 13, the Drill Camp unlocks and changes how you manage your hero roster. Instead of spreading Hero EXP thinly across every unit, you now pick five Drill Instructors who receive all your focused investment. Every other hero you place in Drill Slots will automatically level up to match the lowest-ranked instructor—without spending a single point of Hero EXP.

Level Drills – Auto-Match Your Roster

The Level Drills tab is where you assign your five Drill Instructors at the top. Below them are Drill Slots that increase as you upgrade your Town Center. Any hero added to a slot instantly synchronizes with the lowest instructor’s level. For example, if your weakest instructor is level 30, every slotted hero becomes level 30 as well. This lets you concentrate all Hero EXP on just the instructors while the rest of your team levels for free. But be careful: if you remove a hero from a Drill Slot, its level reverts back to what it originally was before the match.

Level Resets – Reclaim and Reallocate

The Level Resets tab gives you a way to retrieve Hero EXP that was previously spent on heroes now sitting in Drill Slots. Since those heroes don’t need their own EXP anymore (they’re getting a free boost from instructors), you can reset them and reinvest that EXP into your Drill Instructors instead. This is especially useful for heroes you upgraded before unlocking Drill Camp.
